I got some very upsetting news today and the very first thing that came to my mind was when can I sneak away to eat. I have urges like a junkie and I am a emotional eater, well hell I should just lay it all on the line. I am a food addict with sudden urges to binge till I get sick . I am an emotional eater, happy, sad, glad, when it is all said and done I love food so I just eat for no reason at all. Now back to my upsetting news, have you ever been upset and could not contain your emotions well today was one of those days. I cried in a bathroom for about 15 minutes and after I cried I wanted to eat so I bite my nails down on my fingers till they bleed. Damn sounds like this addiction has me right where I belong in the midst of the morbidly obese. Yes I am confessing daily, hoping that I am also helping somebody it is not easy and the struggle back on the wagon is the hardest ever. I am a witness that it can be done. And a believer that it can be accomplished one second, one minute, one hour at a time.

Confessions of a Food Addict
Hi ,
This is your girl just checking in again.Confessing is good for the soul but bad for the reputation.
I really don't know if I am helping anyone except for myself but what I am sure of is that every day I am in a struggle. You may asked what the heck is my problem or my struggle. You may even think that by now I should have it altogether the in and outs of living a healthy and diet free life. Guess again there is no book, pamphlet or instruction guide to getting over an addicting habit. I start over every minute, every hour, and every day just as confused as the day before. Crying is an option but survival is the key. What makes me eat again and again and again. Will I ever be normal. When will I get tired of being tired. Eating healthy and exec rising for the rest of my life, having portion control and not cleaning my plate and remembering that a third serving means that I have gone to far. How easy it it for someone else to put their fork or spoon down and walk away from the table where there is allot of food. Why in the hell am I having such a hard time with that one thing. Walking away from the table and not consuming massive amounts of food. Can you feel my pain !

Confessions of a Food Addict
Do you eat under stress? Is stress a trigger for you, well it is for me. Under stress I fall back under the old patterns of the addiction that I am recovery from. Can I avoid stress or the pressure that comes along with life's daily challenges. No ! Will I ever be stress free or live in a world where there are no worries. No ! What I must learn is to handle my addiction under the pressures of life. Why is food the first thing we rely on and not the last? What is your addiction that continuous hold you back. My addiction is food and I must live every day trying to find the answer because there are no cures. Do I bring on my own pain, do I afflict my self with my own stress. Conducting a self evaluation of myself only further proves that per Dr. Phil you teach people how to treat you. So I encourage stress and worry in my life in order to provoke my need to continue my addiction. I have taught myself that my worth is in a bag of chips, dip or pizza and I am not worth saving , getting healthy or changing the way I am view in society as a obese lazy person. I hold the key to unlocking my own door to my inter prison. Why won't I free myself?

These are my Confessions
Yesterday was a very important day in my life and as always I build myself up to be stress free. Needless to say that did not happen. Which brought back memories of how things use to be and who I could trust and rely on. The answer is always the same and never changing as a addict I went back to the one thing I knew was not going to hurt me, or cause me heartache or pain or make me suffer ( food ). Relying on a person to take my pain away is OVERRATE ! Food on the other hand takes no energy from me, does not drain me, and when everyone around me decide that I am not important enough I grab for the one thing I know will keep me company and soothe me. NO, I never want to be the center of attention. But it seems I never learn my lesson. Someone can hurt me and hurt me and like an addicted I cling to the pain and rely on the food to take it away. Addicts don't think the just do what makes them feel better. Some addicts are different from others and every one has there own reason for there addiction I realized mine yesterday.. NO, it did not take 20 years to find out I already knew but 20 years later it was confirmed once again. Eating massive amounts of food makes me feel better and I eat to relieve stress , heartache and pain. I love hard and suffer long and in between I eat..

Confession
I have an obession with food. I love it. and I am not talking about healthy food. I am talking about fatty food. I love it. Order me a pepperoni pizza and leave me alone for a half an hour. It is an unhealthy obsession, but an obession not the less. I need to carve this obsession out of me. At this moment, I am eating a Subway sandwich. A foot long, not a 6 inch. It has 3 kinds of salty meat and chesses with no veggies. Not even lettice. It is also on italian bread, not whole wheat. That is my obsession. I need to do better. I need to get turkey with cheese on wheat with veggies. What makes me not get this. What makes me crave unhealty food. Can somebody please help me.

My Confession Continues
The last time we left off, I was discussing how I needed more food from the Neighborhood Store. Next thing I knew, I wasn't just having one bag of chips, I was having 2. 2 sodas instead of 1. 2 Big Macs instead of one. I was becoming a big fan of super size. I would double my portion size no matter what I was eating. I was super sizing everything. Then, much to my astonishment, I started tripling what I was eating. I was losing control of myself. I couldn't stop. I was eating too much, and I loved it. My favorite pastime was going to restaurants, especially all-you-can eat buffets. I was in heaven. I knew somewhere deep down I needed to stop, but I couldn't. I didn't want to. I felt that this is who I am and this is my body.
Eventually, the pounds I was gaining was getting excessively higher and higher. Instead of maybe gaining a pound a week, I was doing 2 or 3 a week. My obsession with food was becoming excessive. I was an addict out of control and couldn't stop or understand what I was doing. I had no control over this obsession and it was controlling my life. Instead of being a crack head, I was a Food Head. I was a food junkie always looking for my next score. I can remember going to family functions and pretty much eating everything. I would wait and watch as they would push their plate to the side when they were done and leave the table. I stayed at the table and would eat and eat and eat. I was too busy eating to enjoy their company and if they played games, I was out because I was still at the table, indulging in my obsession.
As my confession rolls on, you will see I had no control over any of this. Like I keep saying, I was an food addict and needed my fix every hour, every minute, every second.

Keep Confessing your Food
Thank you for relaying your confessions. It is hard to relive the past when it comes to food. The only way to move forward is to remember where you came from and where you are going moving forward. It is important that moving forward and you will not be where you were. Even if someone slips here and there, just doing it moderately and you will always bounce back. I am proud of you and where you have come from and where you are going. Every day I see you I become more proud. Through perserverence and hard work you have made it below 200. I know you will not stop until you reach your goal. It is an honor and privilege to move forward with you and live each day with you. There is not a day that goes by that I thank God for having you in my life. You are an inspiration to people everywhere and you are my inspiration. Keep at it and you will succeed.

Confessions of A Food Addict
When did I become an addict? When did I know that this was a disease?
How did I know it was an addiction?
I am now ready to confess. This will help me in my recovery. I wish I could blame this all on my up bringing or say it's my parents fault. It sounds good to blame someone else for my mistakes or my destructive behavior or my fascination with food. I can't narrow this down to a day or an hour that this happen. All I know is the feeling I got when the food touch my lips, went onto my tongue, and down my throat and passed into my stomach.OMG! What a high it was an internal high. I wanted it again and again and again. I've been eating every since, chasing that same high when I ate chicken , pies, cakes, pizza, chips that is just to name a few. I felt a release in my brain of relaxation and contentment and happiness and warmth. That lasted as long as the food lasted and when that food was gone. I became depressed, withdraw and afraid of facing the reality that I was out of control.Eating became my addiction! I ate so I could not feel the pain or the depression that followed. I made excuses for why I binge . The thrill of knowing that I was eating gave me great joy and pleasure. I couldn't stop. Sneaking eating behind cars hiding food in the couch till everyone who was anyone was alsleep lying deceiving others by telling them that I am losing weight or I will get help with my problems. Then sneaking off as soon as I was alone again to get my high on. Bags and bags of chips making trips and trips to the corner store that stayed open just for me. I remember they were closing one night and the guy pulled the gate down. I stood out there and begged him like a fend to open the door. He did but he call me a food junkie as I ran through the store getting my midnight snack chips, ice cream and a drink and two cakes that sometimes held me over till the next morning. From that day on he closed the store after I got my midnight snack. Until even that didn't satisfy me anymore I need and craved more food.Crying out loud but this is my confession.
Do you understand if so email me...

Confessions of a Food Addicted!
- What was I thinking as the numbers on the scale were raising higher and higher right before my eyes. I felt the difference in my clothes and in my appearance. My
recent fall off the wagon affected my progress completely. I continued to eat willing and well aware of my addiction and the consequences which were to follow. It was not in a closet or in a room away from people. I boldly ate like no time before, not ashamed, cocky and even confident to some degree. - As long as I was not weighing in at 210lbs I was going to be okay. Okay, that's exactly what I thought. But okay to do what, get into my clothes that were starting to fit tighter. Or was I hanging on to the thought that I have beaten this addiction and I still had everything under control. Frightening as it may sound I thought I did .
- Who can I turn to fight off this vicious disease that has once again over taken me. In the days to come I will confess my weakness and come clean about my addiction to food, as I fight back to regain control once again one minute, one hour, one day at a time.
- If you have a confession and food happens to be your weakness email me. I never wanted to fight this addiction alone.Together we can fight and gain control.
Never give up or given in!
